Mulan & Friends

I didn't think drizzling cake pops would be hard. I mean, c'mon - Sesame Street and all those others with tons of details weren't that hard... but drizzling took a long time to finally get the hang of!

It's actually fun because it doesn't have to be perfect. Err... that perfect, haha.

Golden Snitch

The hardest of the bunch. I started working with gum paste, recommended by my friend, Elodia.

These turned out OK. I would've liked the gold to be more gold (OCD) but it has a really nice shimmer to it in the light.

I ended up having to take out the wings to reposition them to downward position so that the cake pop could fit in a treat bag. They kept falling off too. So frustrating but in the end, I'm happy with the results!

Hair is made of fondant that I dyed myself. Next time, I will just buy black fondant because kneading is tiring!

I don't know why I am so obsessed with getting black to look SUPER black. I hate that black candy melts are really purple/grayish when you melt it. How do these people online get it to look so darn black?! It's seriously boggling my mind.

Same thing with fondant. It looked kinda purple and gray and black. I dunno. I think it's my OCD just trying to drive me crazy.

Harry Potter Themed

She identifies with Ginny the most because when she was a baby, she was born with red hair. How adorable is that?

Boxing Gloves

My friend hosted a boxing party this weekend and wanted some cake pops for the kiddies.

They are far from good. Nana always gives you the honest truth and asked me, "Why are you making Santa's gloves?" #fail

My first time working seriously with fondant. It's hard work! Definitely need more practice. Tootsie Rolls can only go so far.

Red with Black Sprinkles

I think I got these sprinkles on clearance at Target. They are so pretty - matte and not shiny like your average sugar sprinkles. Looks so much more lich su to me!
