I remember traveling with my parents for work to SoCal when I was a kid. After they were all done with work, we'd go to Bolsa (super Asian mall in Westminster) with $20 and went wild. Literally just ran around the mall alone (well, without our parents) for hours. Times have definitely changed as I can't even let my kids out of my sight for more than 5min without freaking out! And to think, we didn't even have cell phones, texting, or even PAGERS at the time. How the hell did my parents handle it?! Crazy.
